    Meet Your Coach: Azael Montejo Jr.

    Hello. I'm Azael Montejo Jr., and my journey in fitness is deeply personal, rooted in a lifelong dedication to movement and a profound drive to help others. From learning to swim at age 5, through nearly a decade in the rigorous Junior Lifeguard program, I discovered early the power of discipline and the joy of guiding others.

    My commitment to service led me to the US Navy, where rigorous training, especially as an aspiring rescue swimmer, instilled a deep understanding of human resilience and the importance of precise action under pressure. This foundation continued to grow through my college studies in Anatomy & Physiology, which sparked a profound curiosity about the human body and how it truly moves and adapts.

    As a USA Swimming coach and Water Safety Instructor, I had the privilege of coaching a junior Olympic swim team (STAC) and leading popular summer programs that taught entire families how to swim. These experiences solidified my belief in patience, tailored guidance, and the transformative power of learning new skills.

    Today, as a certified Online Personal Trainer with foundational training from NASM, FMS, and Equinox Fitness Training Institute, my coaching is unique. As a highly sensitive person (HSP), I approach every client with deep empathy, truly listening and connecting to your needs. My goal isn't just about exercises; it's about empowering you to build sustainable results, find genuine confidence, and unlock your full potential within a supportive, understanding virtual environment.     I reached a point where I knew I desperately needed a change, but felt truly stuck. My professional life, while fulfilling, demands incredible precision and often involves long hours in very specific postures. From the outside, it might look low-impact, but the reality is that the physical demands are constant and unique, leading to subtle but persistent issues like imbalances, stiffness, and nagging discomfort, especially in my back, hips, and shoulders.
